During the 25th walk stage Steve arrived in Arundel after dark and was delighted by a fresh view of a town we normally only see in daylight. He also found it awesome to be standing next to a 1000-year-old Yew Tree in Crowhurst which had been there when Harold had his Battle. On a more prosaic note – a real highlight was eating a sausage roll in monsoon conditions at Pevensey and savouring every crumb!
Steve is currently plotting a double run – so watch this space!
